Responsibilities
Works closely with laboratory leadership and the laboratory medical directors to ensure compliance with all accreditation and regulatory components of the Clinical Laboratory
Effectively functions as a facilitator, change agent and consultant
Works closely with laboratory leadership to ensure employees working in the Clinical Laboratory are trained and competent to perform the job functions for which they are hired
Coordinates the laboratory quality management program
Identifies problems and opportunities for performance improvement and works with laboratory leadership to implement changes and monitor performance improvement
Promotes standardization of laboratory policies and procedures
Coordinates and maintains the laboratory Document Control program
Maintains the Clinical Laboratory Website
Participates as a member of the laboratory leadership team and collaborates with other leaders as a representative of the laboratory department
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree
Three or four years formal education or training beyond high school or BS or BA degree
6 Years Clinical Laboratory Experience
Clinical Laboratory Supervisor Licensure
