Responsibilities
Support implementation and maintenance of laboratory data acquisition systems such as Empower, SoftMax Pro, TruScan, and related platforms
Integrate laboratory instruments (analytical and process equipment), automation platforms, and software applications to ensure seamless data transfer
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to system connectivity, instrument integration, and data flow
Collaborate with stakeholders and vendors to define requirements and ensure timely integration of new equipment, software, and workflows
Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with GMP data integrity standards
Serve as a liaison between business users, validation teams, and IT to support instrument inventory, system validation, and data governance
Support laboratory instrument automation initiatives and workflow optimization projects
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of relevant experience, Master's degree with 2+ years of experience, or equivalent practical experience in Computer Science, Chemistry, Life Sciences, or a related field
Experience supporting laboratory IT systems, laboratory instruments, and scientific workflows in a product development environment
Strong technical troubleshooting skills related to instrument connectivity, data acquisition, and system integration
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including IT, validation, business users, and external vendors
Willingness to relocate and work onsite in North Chicago
Preferred
Hands-on experience with systems such as IDBS ELN, Thermo LIMS SampleManager, Empower, NuGenesis, Ignition, or similar platforms preferred
