Responsibilities
Build Silver-layer transformation notebooks using PySpark and Spark SQL (PySQL)
Transform and standardize data from Bronze layer sources into clean, analytics-ready Silver staging tables
Implement data quality checks, standardization rules, and transformation logic
Assist in building end-to-end data pipelines within Microsoft Fabric
Support the development of semantic models and reporting datasets
Assist with data modeling and transformation design
Support Bronze, Silver, and Gold layer architecture in Fabric
Troubleshoot data issues and optimize performance
Contribute to documentation, standards, and reusable data engineering patterns
Qualification
Required
Strong SQL skills
Experience with PySpark or Spark SQL
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse, or similar data platforms
Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines
Ability to work with large datasets and perform data transformations
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred
Experience with Yardi Voyager databases
Knowledge of real estate, property management, or financial systems
Familiarity with medallion architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold)
Experience with Power BI or semantic models
