They are seeking a Software Engineering Intern to work closely with their engineering staff on customer projects, engaging in all phases of software development and contributing to the creation of avionics software.

Responsibilities

Participate in software development activities including requirement specification, design definition, and code implementation

Perform software verification activities including test definition, test execution, and review of software lifecycle artifacts

Integrate and debug executable code on avionics hardware platforms

Generate software lifecycle documentation in support of the pursuit of formal certification of avionics software with the FAA and foreign certification authorities

Required

Current accredited college or university enrollment with sophomore, junior or senior standing; making progress towards an undergraduate degree in Biomedical, Computer, Electrical, Software Engineering or Computer Science

Minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.75

Programming skills in C/C++

Working knowledge of software concepts, practices & procedures

Proficient in Microsoft Office tools

Able to work full-time onsite during the summer of 2026

Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship

Preferred

Cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or above

Experience with Python scripting

Experience in software debugging and troubleshooting

Capable of working independently with limited oversight from senior engineers

Ability to work part-time during the school year
