Responsibilities
Build and maintain HL7v2 ingestion pipelines (HTTP + MLLP)
Implement S3-based durable order persistence
Design and manage Step Functions orchestration for routing, retries, and attachment handling
Integrate malware scanning workflows for clinical attachments
Develop product-based routing logic to downstream systems
Transform and deliver ORU-R01 clinical results
Ensure strict customer data isolation and encryption using KMS and IAM
Implement and manage CI/CD-driven infrastructure using AWS CDK
Qualification
Required
Strong experience with AWS serverless services (Lambda, S3, EventBridge, Step Functions)
Experience designing HIPAA-compliant architectures
Hands-on experience with HL7v2 message processing (including ORU-R01)
Deep understanding of IAM, KMS, and secure multi-tenant architectures
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (AWS CDK preferred)
Strong knowledge of event-driven system design and integration patterns
Preferred
Experience in healthcare or clinical data platforms
Familiarity with MLLP protocol handling
Background in highly regulated environments
