Responsibilities

Administer and support IBM z/OS mainframe infrastructure

Perform system upgrades, patching, and maintenance

Manage LPARs, Sysplex, JES2/JES3 environments

Install, configure, and support IBM mainframe products

Monitor system performance and capacity planning

Handle disaster recovery (DR) and backup processes

Manage storage, DASD, tape systems

Work on RACF security administration

Troubleshoot system-level issues and ensure high availability

Coordinate with network, storage, and enterprise infrastructure teams

Provide production support and root cause analysis

Experience with GDPS (good to have)

Experience with Sysplex configuration

Experience with Mainframe automation tools

Knowledge of Disaster Recovery implementation

Knowledge of Performance tuning

Knowledge of Capacity planning

Knowledge of Mainframe storage management
