Responsibilities
Operate as an escalation tier for Information Services support by identifying problems and investigating nature of the problems in a timely manner. Take appropriate action to resolve problems. Consult vendor, colleague, or manager as appropriate
Install, maintain, and manage systems and equipment in accordance with departmental procedure and Independence Health System policies
Monitor systems and take action to ensure system security, stability, and reliability
Develops processes and documentation for the Information Technology knowledgebase. Develop instructions for Information Services staff and Independence Health System end users
Manage tasks and prioritize workloads with critical deadlines
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in related field
Two (2) years of experience of Information Technology support in an enterprise environment
Strong leadership ability, good organizational skills, independent and critical thinking skills, sound judgment, and knowledge of legal aspects and liability of nursing practice
Strong ability to communicate complex and/or controversial topics and concepts to a wide and diverse audience
Act 34-PA Criminal Record Check from the PA State Police system
Preferred
Relevant certifications from vendors or training organizations such as Comp TIA
Five (5) year of system design and system management in an enterprise environment
