Responsibilities
Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location
Monitor security-related alarms, cameras, and communication channels, and dispatch officers and/or notify site contacts and emergency services per post orders
Receive calls and radio traffic, relay clear instructions, and coordinate responses to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner
Maintain accurate logs and reports of dispatch activity, incidents, access events, and shift turnover information
Support routine operations by tracking patrol check-ins and/or directing officers to conduct regular and random patrols around buildings and perimeter areas as conditions vary by location
Qualification
Required
Possess a college degree
Client requires proof of a high school diploma and/or GED
Be 21 or more years of age
Have 5 years of industrial security-related experience or 2 years of military, law enforcement, EMT, or fire department services experience
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
