Responsibilities
Lead and support the migration from SumTotal to Cornerstone LMS
Partner with Client stakeholders to:
Define LMS requirements and workflows
Configure Cornerstone modules to meet organizational needs
Support data, content, and user migration strategies
Serve as a Cornerstone subject matter expert, advising on best practices and configuration decisions
Act as a bridge between:
Learning & Development
HR / Talent teams
IT
External vendors and implementation partners
Assist with implementation planning, timelines, testing, and go-live readiness
Identify risks, gaps, and dependencies early and help drive solutions
Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and validation activities
Assist with documentation, training materials, and change enablement efforts
Help optimize Cornerstone functionality post–go-live to ensure long-term adoption and success
Qualification
Required
Proven experience implementing Cornerstone LMS (healthcare experience strongly preferred)
Experience supporting or migrating from SumTotal LMS (hands-on or working knowledge)
Strong understanding of LMS concepts including: Learning assignments, Curricula, Reporting and compliance tracking, User roles and permissions
Experience working in complex, regulated environments (healthcare, higher education, or large enterprises)
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across technical and non-technical teams
Comfortable operating as a consultant, coordinator, and hands-on contributor
Preferred
Prior healthcare system LMS implementation experience
Experience supporting large-scale learning programs (clinical, compliance, enterprise learning)
Ability to work independently while collaborating within a matrixed organization
Interest in a contract-to-hire path and long-term ownership of LMS operations
