Responsibilities
Own and shape the end‑to‑end item setup and edit experience, defining a clear product vision that is fast, standardized, adaptive, and automated for merchants, suppliers, and customers
Reduce manual data entry by implementing intelligent defaults, automation, and AI‑assisted inputs to drive consistent and predictable item quality across 1P and 3P
Design adaptive workflows that dynamically request only essential information based on context such as category, seller type, and risk
Drive AI-powered capabilities to derive attributes, classify products, validate completeness, and surface issues early, using human‑in‑the‑loop controls where appropriate
Establish a single source of truth for item data, eliminating manual back‑and‑forth between merchants and suppliers by automating upstream workflows
Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, data science, UX, and business teams to align standards, prioritize high‑impact opportunities, and deliver measurable improvements in speed to shelf, data quality, error reduction, and overall experience
Build a scalable platform that supports Walmart’s future growth while improving operational efficiency for internal and external users
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Statistics, or related field and 4 years' experience in data analytics, project management, business, or related area OR 6 years' experience in data analytics, project management, business, or related area
2 years' experience using intermediate functionality of Microsoft Office
Preferred
Statistical Programming Language
Supervising Associates
Working on cross-functional teams or projects
Masters: Business Administration
Project Management - Project Management Professional - Certification
Six Sigma Black Belt - Certification
Six Sigma Green Belt - Certification
