Responsibilities
Architect and own core system layers: load balancing, caching, database sharding, API gateways
Design systems optimized for high availability, fault tolerance, and scalability
Design and implement agentic workflows (ReAct, Planning, Tool-use)
Enable AI agents to autonomously execute complex financial transactions and data retrieval
Ensure AI components follow proven engineering patterns:
Circuit breakers and rate limits for LLM calls
Retry, fallback, and timeout strategies
Centralized logging, monitoring, and observability
Balance deterministic reliability in core systems with probabilistic intelligence in AI layers
Design architectures that are auditable, explainable, and production-ready
Embed architectural guardrails to meet PCI-DSS, GDPR, and financial regulatory requirements
Ensure safe handling of sensitive data across AI-driven workflows
Qualification
Required
8+ years of experience in software engineering and system design
Deep expertise in distributed systems, microservices, and cloud infrastructure (AWS and/or Azure)
Hands-on experience designing autonomous AI agents
Hands-on experience designing RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pipelines
Hands-on experience designing LLM orchestration using LangChain, CrewAI, or Semantic Kernel
Strong proficiency in Java and/or Python
Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
Expertise in message brokers such as Kafka or RabbitMQ
Strong understanding of Saga, CQRS, and event-driven architectures
Ability to apply these patterns to multi-step AI agent workflows
Embed architectural guardrails to meet PCI-DSS, GDPR, and financial regulatory requirements
Ensure safe handling of sensitive data across AI-driven workflows
