Responsibilities
Envision and provide guidance to build advanced Machine Learning solutions and products to deliver superior business outcomes using research and performing quantitative and qualitative analysis on markets, products and competitors
Innovate approaches to answer pressing questions, prepare complex data analyses and models that help identify and solve issues, drive the scaling of automated processes and deliver significant measurable impact
Act as an analytics translator, communicating complex data insights through exploratory analysis and presenting information with the right level of detail for the target audience
Engage data family team of owners and stewards to steer and influence strategy and decisions through advice and data
Build and lead a tight, highly-motivated team who will work closely with team members globally. Hire, develop, empower, and motivate. Our culture is passionate about rapid iteration with open feedback and healthy debates along the way
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field like Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or a related field is required
Hands-on modeling experience in a business environment and 5+ years of leading data science teams
Demonstrated excellence in a relevant AI/ML discipline (CV, NLP, ASR, etc.), including experience with ML model building with libraries such as Tensorflow, PyTorch, and OpenAI
Knowledge of fundamentals of machine learning, such as algorithm families (regression, classification, unsupervised), AB testing, hypothesis testing, and optimization
Preferred
Experience with human-in-the-loop ML, active learning, and data labeling
Experience with knowledge graphs and graph databases (e.g., Neo4j, triplestores, ontologies, taxonomies)
Excellent problem-solving and quantitative skills, combined with impeccable business judgment and ability to handle multiple projects and to lead and drive complex operational and strategic initiatives
Strong communication skills, for example, demonstrated through documentation and presentations. Able to present findings to senior management to inform business decisions
