The role involves testing optical fibers, documenting manufacturing processes, performing equipment maintenance, and assisting engineers as needed.

Responsibilities
Work per standard operating procedures in Testing Optical Fibers
Document the manufacturing process as required
Perform basic equipment maintenance & calibration
Assist recommending solutions to technical problems
May assist in the selection and set-up of specialized test equipment
Assist engineers as needed
Cross-training in other areas as needed
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience or practice executing delicate tasks with small, fragile parts
Computer literacy including data entry in Excel
Ability to see details at close range
Excellent hand to eye coordination
The job requires access to defense articles and related technical data subject to the International Traffic and Arms Regulations (“ITAR”) 22 C.F.R. 120-130. Therefore applicants must be U.S. persons as the term is defined in ITAR 120.15
