Responsibilities
Lead delivery of water, wastewater, and stormwater conveyance and storage projects for various clients
Lead a team of engineers through the design process and interact directly with clients
Develop and deliver technical conveyance solutions and mentor mid-level engineers
Serve as Design Manager, Assistant Project Manager, and Project Manager leading a technical team
Perform technical tasks and coordinate resources for multiple concurrent water infrastructure projects
Lead and manage project teams throughout all phases of project planning, execution, and closeout
Ensure project delivery processes meet scope, schedule, budget, and contract requirements
Lead business development activities with key clients to win new projects
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Agricultural, Mechanical, Environmental, and/or related engineering discipline
Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) is required. If not registered in Oregon, you must be able to obtain within one year of hire
Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in related roles
Design Management, Assistant Project Management, and/or Project Management experience providing leadership and oversight of project delivery
Ability to lead the design and preparation of plans, specifications, estimates, studies, proposals and/or reports
Preferred
A Master's degree in discipline listed above
12 or more years of experience working in engineering roles
Experience managing multi-disciplinary teams on medium to large water conveyance projects
Experience serving various clients involving a wide variety of fields including conveyance pipeline design, project management, water/wastewater pump station design
Strong network among clients in the region
