Responsibilities
Create and implement complex digital systems using FPGAs, ensuring they meet project specifications and performance requirements
Conduct thorough testing and validation of FPGA designs to ensure functionality and reliability
Work closely with hardware designers, software engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate FPGA solutions into larger systems
Identify and resolve issues in FPGA designs, optimizing performance and efficiency
Maintain detailed documentation of design processes, test results and system specifications
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Must be a US citizen
Top Secret Security Clearance
Master's degree in electrical engineering degree and 12 years of experience in FPGA design and development, of which 5 years must be in the DoD
BA/BS degree and 15 years of experience in Electrical Engineering and experience in FPGA design and development, of which 5 years must be in the DoD
Strong knowledge of digital logic design, hardware description languages (HDLs) such as VHDL, or Verilog, and FPGA development tools
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to tackle complex design challenges
