Lead Management & Program Analyst
Air Force Civilian Service (AFCS) is seeking a Full-Time Lead Management & Program Analyst to work at the Air Force Materiel Command in Warner Robins, Georgia. The role involves providing leadership and oversight of operational and management requirements for the AFSC Software Engineering Directorate, managing administrative matters, and supporting external-facing programs.

Responsibilities
Provides leadership and oversight of operational and management requirements for the AFSC Software Engineering Directorate, including suspense and records management, correspondence, policy development, leadership briefings and reports and other special projects as needed
Provides management control and manages administrative matters for the Directorate
Serves as focal point for development, coordination, and consolidation of group-level inputs for the Directorate, Air Force Sustainment Center, and higher headquarters briefings, reports, policies, and publications
Works closely with Customer Engagement in providing execution support for external-facing programs where needed
Provides executive support to Director and Deputy Director
Performs tasks and details to assist the Director and Deputy Director in discharging their official Department of Defense social responsibilities
Qualification
Required
U.S. Citizenship
Obtain & maintain the appropriate security clearance
May occasionally be required to work other than normal duty hours
Ability to plan, organize, lead functions, mentor and motivate the staff of an organization
Extensive knowledge and skill in applying analytical and evaluative techniques for the identification, consideration, and resolution of issues or problems concerning efficiency and effectiveness of the program and/or strategic sourcing
Master knowledge of overall missions, functions, and organization of the agency or component. Ability to apply the knowledge to evaluate current organizational strategies and performance
Extensive knowledge of organizational concepts, principles, and practices as related to the requirements for performance-based programs, acquisition, supply maintenance, procurement procedures, manufacturing, strategic sourcing, and other support areas
Ability to work with, lead, and manage various groups or individuals to resolve difficult problems/situations as related to organizational issues. Ability to understand and deploy lean concepts in problem resolution
Skill in interpreting and applying complex DOD, USAF, AFMC, and AFSC regulations, methods, operating procedures, and policies, as well as developing methods and operating procedures as required
Ability to utilize Art of Possible (AOP) concepts and initiatives to plan, organize, and direct the functions and staff of an organization
