They are hiring a Cybersecurity Engineer to join their Cybersecurity & Compliance team, responsible for incident response, monitoring security platforms, and ensuring compliance with standard operating procedures.

Responsibilities
Provide a detailed recording of actions performed, time spent, and tasks remaining for all daily activities per the organization’s standard operating procedures
Lead and support incident response investigations
Monitor and remediate alerts in our security platforms
Configure and manage Entra ID
Implement and maintain Microsoft Purview solutions including DLP and compliance auditing
Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent remediation
Contribute to the organization’s knowledge base through the creation and maintenance of contact information, technical information, procedures, informational reference materials, fixes for known issues, and user guides
Diagnose and resolve proactively generated technical alerts in compliance with operational objectives and the organization’s standard operating procedures
Implement, audit, and manage backup and disaster recovery technologies to ensure they are configured in compliance with the organization’s standard operating procedures and are successfully protecting the customer’s information and systems as designed
Audit the organization’s cybersecurity and compliance solutions post-implementation by the Change Management group to ensure compliance with the organization’s standard operating procedures
Qualification
Required
A passion for technology and the ever-evolving nature of the IT industry
3+ years of demonstratable experience working with computers and other IT systems
Clear attention to detail and a propensity for technical analysis
Experience with configuring or managing Entra ID
Experience with configuring or managing Microsoft Purview compliance tools
Preferred
Microsoft Security certifications (SC-100, SC-200, SC-300, SC-400, AZ-500)
CompTIA Security+ or higher
