Responsibilities
Designing, developing, and maintaining backend services, APIs, and microservices
Writing clean, reusable, and scalable code aligned with engineering best practices
Partnering with frontend, QA, and product teams to deliver complete end-to-end features
Profiling, monitoring, and tuning application performance across services and data layers
Diagnosing production issues, conducting root cause analysis, and deploying fixes with minimal disruption
Contributing to architectural discussions, system design, and technical decision-making
Creating and maintaining technical documentation for backend components
Participating in code reviews to uphold consistency and quality standards
Building unit, integration, and automated tests to ensure system reliability
Keeping current with emerging backend technologies and industry trends
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline — or equivalent hands-on experience
Strong proficiency in one or more backend languages, particularly C#, with some exposure to Node.js
Solid grasp of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design principles
Experience building RESTful APIs, microservices, or distributed systems
Wix, WPF, and WinForms experience is a strong plus
Familiarity with SQL and/or NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or DynamoDB
Proficiency with Git/GitHub or similar version control systems
Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
Experience working within Agile/Scrum development teams
Preferred
Experience with cloud platforms, particularly Azure
Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or container-based architectures
Familiarity with event-driven systems or messaging technologies
Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins)
Understanding of authentication and authorization frameworks such as OAuth and JWT
