Responsibilities

Provide direct phone and ticket-based support to end users, troubleshooting issues ranging from printers to advanced networking
Administer and support Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams
Manage and troubleshoot Azure resources such as Entra ID, virtual machines, and networking
Maintain Hyper-V hosts and virtual machines, including provisioning and performance troubleshooting
Perform routine Windows Server maintenance, patching, backups, and security tasks
Troubleshoot network issues involving VLANs, switches, firewalls, and routing
Configure and support networking equipment (switches, access points, gateways)
Assist with on-prem migrations to cloud or virtualized environments
Create and maintain clear documentation for fixes, procedures, and environment changes
Participate in on-call rotation and occasional after-hours maintenance

Required

3+ years of experience in IT support or a Tier 2 service desk role
Strong experience administering Microsoft 365
Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, including VLANs
Strong troubleshooting skills with clear communication and documentation habits
A desire to learn, improve systems, and take ownership of issues

Preferred

Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure
Experience supporting Hyper-V and virtual machine hosts
Experience working with Windows Server environments
Experience with managed antivirus services
Experience with remote monitoring and management (RMM) tools
Basic scripting experience (PowerShell preferred)
Exposure to backup and disaster recovery solutions
Relevant certifications (Microsoft, CompTIA, or similar)
