Responsibilities
Architect and manage highly available, scalable AWS environments
Build using AWS Serverless stack: Lambda, DynamoDB, API Gateway
Manage core services: S3, VPC, IAM, EC2 (if applicable)
Optimize cloud performance and cost
Lead and maintain infrastructure provisioning via Terraform
Ensure version-controlled, modular, reusable IaC
Enforce environment parity across dev/test/prod
Deploy and manage microservices using Docker
Manage Kubernetes clusters using Amazon EKS
Implement auto-scaling and rolling deployments
Manage and optimize Amazon ElastiCache (Redis)
Improve performance for session management and high-speed retrieval
Implement Security as Code in Terraform
Manage IAM roles, policies, and least-privilege access
Ensure VPC isolation and network segmentation
Conduct regular cloud security audits and remediation
Own monitoring stack (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.)
Proactively identify performance and availability risks
Recommend cost-saving improvements
Qualification
Required
7+ years DevOps / Cloud Engineering experience
Strong AWS experience (Serverless + Core Services)
Advanced Terraform expertise
Docker & Kubernetes (EKS)
AWS IAM, VPC, Security best practices
Redis / ElastiCache
Monitoring & observability tools
Strong scripting (Bash, Python preferred)
