Mercer is seeking a talented individual to join their Career Consulting team as a Summer Intern Analyst based in New York. The role involves supporting client engagements across industries, conducting research and analysis, and contributing to the design of strategic talent solutions.

Responsibilities
Conduct research and analysis to understand industry and organization-specific issues that could include business strategy, corporate performance, compensation and rewards practices and trends, global expansion, and best practices in talent management
Collect and examine data relevant to developing solutions tailored to the client’s needs
Analyze clients' strategic, financial, and organizational information to provide insights for more senior members of the project team
Participate in team brainstorming sessions to develop client recommendations
Prepare client presentations, including recommendations to be presented to boards of directors, executives, senior management, and HR leaders
Qualification
Required
Progress toward a bachelor's degree
Status as a currently enrolled student; candidates should have an expected graduation date between the Spring of 2027 through Spring of 2028
Strong academic achievement demonstrated through rigorous course work, and the ability to successfully balance extra-curricular activities
A strong interest in human capital consulting
Legal work authorization to work in the U.S. on a permanent and ongoing basis without the need for sponsorship now or in the future is required
Preferred
Strong analytical skills, both quantitative and qualitative, and working knowledge of Microsoft Office— specifically Excel and PowerPoint
Knowledge of data analysis, storytelling with data, and presentation design
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Intellectual curiosity; seeking opportunities to develop new skills and apply critical thinking and innovative solutions to solve problems
Ability to collaborate with diverse teams and communicate with others in a skillful, engaging, and proactive manner
Strong time management skills, with the flexibility to work under tight deadlines and adapt to changing client needs
Superior organizational skills and strong attention to detail
