Responsibilities
Perform preventative maintenance on diesel and natural gas generators
Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues
Troubleshoot ATS (Automatic Transfer Switches) systems
Conduct load bank testing and commissioning of new units
Perform emergency service calls as needed
Complete detailed service reports and documentation
Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards
Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment
Communicate effectively with customers regarding findings and repairs
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience servicing generators (Generac, Cummins, Kohler, CAT, MTU preferred)
Strong knowledge of diesel engines, fuel systems, and electrical controls
Ability to read wiring diagrams and schematics
Valid driver's license with clean driving record
Ability to work overtime and participate in on-call rotation
Preferred
Experience with ATS systems and switchgear preferred
EPA Certification (preferred but not required)
Technical school or military power generation experience is a plus
