Responsibilities

Architect, implement, and optimize Tanium infrastructure and modules (Asset, Deploy, Patch, Comply, Discover, etc.) within large-scale distributed environments
Lead continuous compliance initiatives using Tanium aligned with STIG, NIST, RMF, and FISMA requirements
Develop advanced Tanium queries, automation workflows, integrations, and scripting solutions to streamline security operations and reporting
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers; conduct technical reviews and knowledge transfer sessions
Serve as a senior contributor within Agile teams - participating in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and Jira-based workflow management
Support vulnerability management and incident response activities leveraging Tanium capabilities
Collaborate with cybersecurity, IT operations, and compliance teams to refine system architecture and performance metrics
Support both on-premises and cloud-based infrastructure, including Oracle Cloud environments where applicable

Required

Active Secret Clearance
Minimum 5+ years of hands-on Tanium engineering/administration experience
Experience designing and managing Tanium infrastructure across enterprise environments
Strong knowledge of federal cybersecurity frameworks (STIG, NIST, RMF, FISMA)
Experience with automation, scripting, and platform integrations
Experience working within Agile teams and Jira-based workflows
Experience supporting hybrid environments (on-premises and cloud)
DoD 8570 IAT II Certification (e.g., Security+ CE or equivalent)
Strong communication skills with experience collaborating across technical and mission teams
