Responsibilities
Assist in developing presentations, newsletters, social media, and other communication materials to ensure consistent and engaging messaging
Support event communications by drafting talking points, briefing documents and supporting speaker preparation
Collaborate on internal communication campaigns and maintain communications channels that align with CareFirst's goals and values
Assess metrics, improve measurement dashboard, and execute strategic recommendations based on insights and trends
Qualification
Required
Current Sophomore, Junior or Senior Undergraduate, or Masters level student pursuing a degree in Business, Communications, Journalism, Graphic Design or a related field with a cumulative 3.2 GPA
Attention to detail and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including assisting with presentation creation and design
Experience managing and executing projects to completion
Excellent organizational skills and ability to set priorities
Independent thinker and self-starter who can also work as part of a team
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to positively interface with and establish and maintain effective working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
Strategic, creative, and solution-focused independent contributor who can drive work projects and deliverables without constant supervision, while requesting needed support
Demonstrated skills with various computer applications/software, particularly those related to writing documents and the development of presentations
Preferred
Proficiency with AP Style preferred
