Software Development Analyst
Northrop Grumman is a leader in technological advancements and is seeking an experienced Software Development Analyst to join their Aeronautics Systems sector in Melbourne, FL. The role involves supporting the design, development, deployment, and sustainment of applications for Cost and Schedule Management and Financial Planning teams, while engaging with internal customers to understand their needs and requirements.

Responsibilities
Engage with internal customers to understand and define application/utility needs and requirements
Communicate complex software engineering and information system concepts clearly and effectively with customer stakeholders, senior leadership, and cross-functional teams
Participate constructively in a collaborative work environment with other geographically distributed team members
Support the design, development, test, deployment, sustainment, and documentation of new and existing enterprise-wide applications and utilities in both classified and unclassified network environments

Qualification
Required
Master's degree OR Bachelor's degree with 2 years of experience in one or more of the following areas: Computer Science, Software Engineering or comparable/equivalent experience
Intermediate understanding and frequent use/application of software development concepts, principles, techniques, and theories (algorithm development, data structures, Object Oriented Programming)
Moderate experience with relational databases and Structured Query Language (SQL, T-SQL)
Moderate experience with developing, deploying, and debugging, three-tier web development stack
MS SQL Server (Data tier)
.NET, C# (Application / Services tier)
HTML, CSS, JavaScript (Presentation tier)
Demonstrated ability to work effectively on project teams
Self-motivated, organized, with strong interpersonal, analytical, communication and presentation skills
Must have an active DoD Secret or higher clearance (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into continuous evaluation)
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance, prior to the commencement of employment
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret Clearance
Preferred
Active DoD Top Secret Clearance
Active SAP clearances
Experience with React
Experience with Visual Studio
Experience with Agile development cycle/concepts
Experience with Azure DevOps (Git repositories, CI/CD Pipelines)
Experience developing and sustaining RESTful Application Programming Interfaces (APIs)
Experience with PowerBI and/or Tableau
Experience with Python and Visual Basic for Applications (VBA)
Experience with MS Power Apps, Power Automate
Experience with MS Excel Power Query, Power Pivot
Experience with Microsoft Project Server
Experience with Microsoft SharePoint
Familiarity with PolyBase technology
Familiarity with Cost Accounting principles
Familiarity with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) and processes
