Responsibilities
Software Safety Analysis
Perform the Safety Assurance activities on project/product development in accordance with the Safety process
Support tenders by providing Safety Estimates
Define the Safety Plan, including safety workload, and associated planning for the project/product development
Perform Safety Analysis
Apply the safety assurance methodologies (risk acceptance criteria, verification and validation) defined for the project/product development to meet the Safety Targets
Manage the Hazard Log through closure
Support V&V and T&C activities from a Safety perspective
Work with Engineering teams to integrate products into projects
Build the Safety Reports and/or the Safety Cases
Defend the Safety Case in front of external (ISA) assessors; define and follow-up action plans to close the findings of the assessors
Lead (if any) the Safety Assurance Engineers involved on the project / system / product (Internal or external resources)
Manage Safety Issues of fielded solutions
Qualification
Required
5 years' successful experience in safety assurance or safety-critical applications
Knows and Understands the Safety Standards (AREMA, CENELEC, e.g., or equivalent)
Bachelor's degree in relevant Engineering (System, Electrical, Electro-mechanical, Software)
