Responsibilities
Preparing samples, standard reference materials, reagents, and/or solutions
Maintaining a clean and well-organized work area
Performing and documenting routine maintenance and calibration of instrumentation
Documenting/recording raw data and results of analyses
Executing analytical procedures in accordance with the appropriate regulations
Follow the guidelines set forth with the company Quality, Health, Safety, Security and Environmental policies and procedures
Comply with company management systems in accordance with appropriate regulatory agencies
Follows the guidelines set forth in the company Quality Manual and Safety / Chemical Hygiene Plan
Adhere to the requirements of the company Quality System
Other duties as defined by supervisor, department needs and workload
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Biochemistry, Chemistry, Biology or closely related field
Good critical thinker and problem solver
Possess good interpersonal skills
Have good technical writing and communication skills
The ability to prioritize, multi-task, and interpret mathematical relationships
Possess a willingness to learn in a team-based environment
The ability to work independently and as part of a group
Good attention to detail
Basic computer skills
Positive attitude, self-motivated, high level of engagement
Adheres to company values
Preferred
Minimum of one (1) year of experience working in an analytical chemistry laboratory
Experience in a GLP/cGMP and ISO regulated environment
