Water/Wastewater Conveyance Project Manager

PACE Advanced Water Engineering is a specialized civil engineering firm focused on advanced water resource consulting services. They are seeking a Water/Wastewater Conveyance Project Manager to lead and manage multi-disciplinary teams in the planning, design, and permitting of sustainable water resources, specifically for wastewater, recycled water, and potable water projects.

Responsibilities

Serving as the technical lead, managing, guiding and interfacing with multi-disciplinary team members
Overseeing the work of other engineers, CAD production staff and supporting disciplines
Managing project schedules and budgets
Performing quality control oversight of work performed by team members
Monitoring all project activities and take any corrective action when necessary to assure quality completion and mitigation of risks
System modeling
Process calculations
Hydraulic calculations and design
Construction document preparation (specifications and drawings)
Technical writing, including interfacing with and integrating the work of others
Cost estimating
Field studies and site analysis
Research / pilot testing
Master planning
Environmental permit application preparation and negotiation
Coordination with process vendors and contractors
Construction administration/support, including field site visits
Client and team member engagement
Business development support, including proposal development

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree in civil, environmental or related engineering field master's degree a plus
15 years of work experience
2+ years of experience as lead engineer/project manager
Valid Professional Engineer (PE) license (California preferred)
MS Office proficiency
Working knowledge of AutoCAD
Excellent communication skills including technical writing and presentations
Ability to lead a project team and serve as lead contact to client
Ability to work in a team environment and self-directed
