They are seeking a Program Coordinator to provide project and program coordination in support of committees for ASCO Educational Meetings, ensuring high-quality execution and adherence to defined timelines.

Responsibilities
Collaborate with meeting manager in the development of assigned meetings, including the coordination of committee meetings and materials, and the scheduling of and preparation for committee planning conference calls
Prepare materials for and lead planning conference calls with meeting committee and faculty members to align with ASCO’s practices around evidence-based education and learning science principles, as well as meeting logistics
Lead the process for both faculty invitation and abstract notification process, including accurately preparing and distributing committee and faculty correspondence and leading the faculty replacement process for both education and science programs
Serve as customer service lead for assigned meetings by providing high-level support by phone and managing email accounts. Support customer service efforts for other ASCO meetings as needed
Anticipate, coordinate, and execute timely and informative correspondence and material preparation required to ensure that programs adhere to expected quality, defined timelines, and program content
Provide support for databases, websites, meeting applications, and online tools
Serve as the coordinating lead for the testing and deployment of time-sensitive Confex applications such as the Speaker Center tool and the abstract submitter and grader tools
Coordinate the development of onsite materials. Provide onsite staff support at assigned meetings and other meetings as requested
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent training or equivalent years of experience
2 – 3 years of related administrative support experience, preferably in a nonprofit environment
Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
Preferred
Prior experience with Oncology or other scientific or medical meetings and event marketing
