Machine Operator (TAE) - Aerospace - 3rd Shift

Responsibilities
Performing set-up, operation, and accomplish precise alignment of assigned lathe, mill, and balance machines to extremely close tolerances
Accurately perform and document operations and inspections as stated in the Quality Manual
Recognizing deviations in proper machine performance; troubleshoot and implement corrective actions
Working from process sheets, engineering drawings or specifications, sketches and written or oral instructions to machine various products
Performing preventative maintenance and diagnostics on assigned machines
Working in a fast-paced, high volume team environment
Supporting and maintain overall shop efficiency by keeping work areas clean and safe
Demonstrating reliability, dependability, and safety-oriented work
Performing other duties as required based on assignment
Qualification
Required
You have a high school diploma or GED equivalent
Experience in a manufacturing/production environment or running CNC machines is preferred
Knowledge of measuring equipment and good math skills
Ability to follow instructions carefully
Ability to perform set-up, operation, and accomplish precise alignment of assigned lathe, mill, and balance machines to extremely close tolerances
Ability to accurately perform and document operations and inspections as stated in the Quality Manual
Ability to recognize deviations in proper machine performance; troubleshoot and implement corrective actions
Ability to work from process sheets, engineering drawings or specifications, sketches and written or oral instructions to machine various products
Ability to perform preventative maintenance and diagnostics on assigned machines
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high volume team environment
Ability to support and maintain overall shop efficiency by keeping work areas clean and safe
Demonstrating reliability, dependability, and safety-oriented work
Ability to perform occasional lifting, carrying of 25-50 pounds or more and standing for extended periods of time
Ability to engage in moderate physical activity requiring agility and manual dexterity, including walking, standing, or bending as well as lifting or moving objects
Value teamwork and have good interpersonal communication and organization skills
High level of integrity and desire to make a difference
Preferred
Experience in a manufacturing/production environment or running CNC machines is preferred
