Responsibilities
Retrieve and separate audit paperwork
Conduct audits of cashier paperwork for accuracy and compliance
Ensure proper organization and submission of cashier accounting packets
Verify the accuracy of cashier transactions and reports
Input cashier report data into spreadsheets
Prepare journal entries for accounting systems
Maintain records of cashier overages and shortages
Research and resolve cashier and department-level discrepancies
Expense player points and comps to the appropriate issuing departments
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or GED
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to work in a fast-paced and often demanding environment
Ability to obtain and maintain licensing by the appropriate gaming authority
Preferred
Previous experience as a cashier or bookkeeper is preferred but not required
