Responsibilities
Provide advanced expertise to design, deploy, and maintain the organization’s IT infrastructure
Lead complex projects, optimize systems for maximum performance and reliability, and implement security measures to protect organizational data
Serve as a technical mentor to junior staff and collaborate closely with stakeholders to align technology solutions with business objectives
Develop and enforce best practices for system management and contribute to strategic IT initiatives
Qualification
Required
High School diploma or equivalent required
Minimum 4-8 years of experience in a similar or related role required; however, candidates with an equivalent combination of experience, education, certification, and demonstrated proficiency in a similar or related role will also be considered
Extensive knowledge of multiple operating systems (e.g., Windows Server, Linux distributions)
Extensive knowledge of VMware, Citrix, and Windows virtual technologies
Understanding of networking concepts, including firewalls, load balancers, and network protocols
Proficient in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Bash) for automation and system management
Analytical and problem-solving skills to assess complex system issues effectively
Excellent leadership abilities with oral and written communication skills for collaboration across teams
Ability to develop long-term strategies for system architecture and technology integration
Willingness to learn and adapt to emerging technologies and evolving business requirements
Effective oral and written communication skills for collaboration with technical and non-technical teams
Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a team environment
Commitment to providing excellent customer service
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple project activities simultaneously
