The successful candidate will manage a portfolio of non-complex electric projects throughout their lifecycle, engaging key stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of scope, cost, schedule, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities
Accurately maintain detailed project schedules monthly in Primavera P6 including project requirements, activity and milestone dates, resourcing, status, etc
Accurately maintain project budgets and forecasts monthly
Ensure compliance with National Grid’s financial governance policies and procedures including Delegation of Authority (sanctioning) and accruals
Ensure compliance with regulatory and other mandatory targets
Prepare for and attend monthly stakeholder meetings focused on portfolio and work plan health
Assemble project teams comprised of various project stakeholders and host project specific meetings to resolve risks or persistent issues
Ensure timely completion of reports as required by the business
Monitor performance against key performance indicators and adjust ways of working as necessary to achieve a high level of performance
Challenge existing ways of working and facilitate improvements to company best practices to achieve the highest level of efficiency and performance
Manage data in National Grid’s Work Management System (STORMS)
Provide leadership and oversight to a large group of internal and external stakeholders, driving efficiency and effectiveness, key strategies and processes to successfully deliver fiscal year targets
Identify and mitigate risks to the project delivery process including but not limited to permitting, logistical, material, resource, contractual and cost constraints
Effectively support interfacing teams and company initiatives
Qualification
Required
A Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in one of the following or related fields: Project Management, Business, Engineering, Construction Management or Utility Operations. Relevant experience in lieu of a degree will be considered
Demonstrate a high level of personal initiative, integrity, and ability to interact with stakeholders in a positive and collaborative manner
Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
Demonstrate an ability to multi-task and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrate an ability to independently resolve conflicts
Proficiency in Microsoft applications
Preferred
Knowledge of National Grid's business operations, company policies and procedures preferred
Familiarity with SAP, Power BI, Primavera P6 and Procore is ideal but not required
