Responsibilities
Lead and execute electrical design verification testing for complex implantable devices
Develop, review, and execute comprehensive verification protocols and detailed technical reports
Conduct hands-on bench testing of electrical and electromechanical assemblies and subsystems
Configure and operate laboratory instrumentation including oscilloscopes, power supplies, signal generators, and data acquisition systems
Investigate and troubleshoot test failures; document findings, deviations, and root cause analyses
Collaborate closely with R&D, Systems Engineering, and Quality teams to ensure alignment with verification requirements
Maintain verification documentation in compliance with FDA design controls and applicable regulatory standards
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related technical field
5–10+ years of experience in electrical verification or test engineering within a regulated medical device environment
Extensive hands-on laboratory experience testing complex electrical systems (implantable device experience strongly preferred)
Proven expertise in authoring and executing verification protocols and formal technical reports
Strong understanding of design controls, V&V processes, and quality system regulations
Excellent analytical, documentation, and technical communication skills
Experience with programming or automation tools such as LabVIEW, MATLAB, Python, C/C++, or similar
