Responsibilities
While partnering with the receiving team, the inspectors will approve or deny the fabric as it comes into the facility
The inspectors will provide feedback to the Manufacturing Solutions Supervisor and the cutting supervisor on products received and possible delays
The inspectors will be required to complete documentation on all products received
All issues will be escalated to the appropriate personnel
All other duties assigned by the supervisor
Regular and predictable performance of job duties
Qualification
Required
1 Year of furniture experience and at least 6 months of quality inspection
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
High attention to detail and quality
Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment
Must be able to stand/walk for extended periods
Must be able to lift and move materials as needed up to 60lbs
Must adhere to all safety policies and procedures
Preferred
1 year of fabric inspection within furniture manufacturing
High School Diploma or Equivalent
