Responsibilities

Lead supply chain program management for Space and Airborne Systems in collaboration with Engineering, Program Management, and Operations
Utilize hands-on, cross-functional strategies to identify process pain points and implement improvements
Track program deliverables, assess key risks, and develop mitigation plans, providing regular status updates
Manage critical project milestones, ensuring suppliers can meet demands and optimizing material flow for inventory management
Provide technical support for design reviews and assess impacts on materials and supply chain
Drive continuous process improvements to enhance efficiency in product development and supply chain operations
Maintain and manage supplier relationships to meet program requirements and performance standards
Collaborate with a diverse team of engineers, suppliers, and program managers to support program objectives
Develop and monitor customized supply chain management metrics tailored to space programs
Communicate the company's technical and programmatic value proposition effectively
Uphold high ethical standards and adhere to the company's Code of Conduct
Requires mastery level knowledge within a specific technical area or multiple job areas. Viewed as an expert and/or resource within the field by peers in and outside the organization

Required

8 YEARS IN AEROSPACE/DEFENSE INDUSTRY
PROGRAM MANAGEMENT EXP IN SUPPLY CHAIN
Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field, with a minimum of 12 years of related experience, or a Graduate Degree with 10 years of experience, or 16 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
Proven expertise in supply chain program management within the aerospace/defense industry
Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills
Familiarity with contract types such as Fixed Price and Time & Materials is preferred
Ability to engage with and influence a diverse range of stakeholders

Preferred

Secret clearance preferred, but not required
Experience in the following contract types: FFP, FPIF, T&M, Labor Hour, Cost Reimbursement (w/fixed-fee, incentive fee or award fee)
Experience as Cost Account Manager for Subcontracts managing budgets and sales forecasting
Proficient in Microsoft Suite of Products
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to periodically travel to supplier facilities (mainly domestic locations)
