Data Modeler Analyst
The California Franchise Tax Board is seeking a Data Modeler Analyst to work under the direction of the Supervisor of the Data Development and Analysis Unit. The role involves producing deliverables related to external reporting functions and developing complex datasets to support income tax data and reports. This position is crucial for ensuring high-quality data is accessible to stakeholders.

Producing deliverables related to the Bureau's external reporting functions
Developing complex datasets in support of the Bureau's mandated Section 41 legislative reporting
Producing high-quality income tax data and reports in support of the Bureau's deliverables of high quality income tax data
Accessing the historical and current impact of established tax laws and policies
Qualification
Required
Knowledge of Economic and Statistical Research Bureau products and deliverables
Knowledge of Personal Income Tax (PIT) and Corporation (Corp) tax forms
Knowledge of PIT and Corp return data sources
Knowledge of Data Preparation, Analysis and Outlier methodologies
Knowledge of Statistical Analysis Software (SAS) and Structured Query Language (SQL)
Knowledge of Python
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Education related to IT Degree
