They are seeking a hands-on Controller to lead the finance function, design scalable internal controls, and transform accounting into a strategic asset that supports the company's growth.
Financial Services

Responsibilities

Design and implement the internal controls, AP automation, and intercompany workflows needed to support our expansion into new markets (NV, OR, CO, IN, and beyond)
Own the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close, delivering accurate P&Ls by location and entity that help leadership measure profitability
Manage complex revenue recognition across diverse streams—AUM fees, tax engagement fees, and insurance commissions—ensuring every dollar is accounted for
Monitor cash flow and partner with the President and Director of Finance to build budgets and forecasts that guide our growth

Required

5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a full-charge bookkeeping or Controller role
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent expert-level experience)
Demonstrated mastery of full-cycle accounting, month-end close, and financial statement preparation

Preferred

Experience in Financial Services (RIA, Broker-Dealer, Insurance) or a Tax/CPA practice, and/or a CPA or CMA credential
