Responsibilities
Prepare detailed MEP quantity takeoffs and cost estimates
Review drawings and specifications to identify scope gaps, coordination issues, and potential risks
Solicit, analyze, and level subcontractor and supplier proposals
Develop conceptual, schematic, design development, and GMP-level estimates
Support value engineering and cost-saving initiatives
Collaborate with project management and operations teams during preconstruction
Assist with bid packages, presentations, and executive reporting
Qualification
Required
5+ years of MEP estimating experience with a reputable general contractor
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems
Experience working on large-scale commercial or institutional projects
Proficiency with industry-standard estimating software
