They are seeking an Information Technology Intern to assist in supporting the IT Department, focusing on security, efficiency, and end-user training in technology operations.

Responsibilities
Assist in the annual end-user security best practices training
Assist with entry–level Helpdesk support needs
Managing IT equipment inventory and asset database
Preparing network devices for deployment at construction job sites
Assist in the installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of end-user workstation hardware, software, and peripheral devices at Corporate HQ and at job sites
Assist in equipment, hardware, and software upgrades
Familiarity with cyber security best practices and implementation
Education of end-users on cyber security policies and best practices
Qualification
Required
Current student in an accredited university working towards a technical degree
Working technical knowledge of Microsoft and Office platform
Understanding of TCP/IP routing/switching at Layer 2 and 3 along with related protocols
General Network architecture best practices
Knowledge of segmented networks (vlan tagging)
VPN Protocols (IPsec and Wireguard)
Knowledge of Wi-Fi systems
Authentication and connection debugging
Roaming optimization
Coverage estimation
Hands-on hardware & troubleshooting experience preferred
Strong written and oral communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language
Highly self-motivated and directed
Keen attention to detail
Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
Strong customer service orientation
Lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
Preferred
Hands-on hardware & troubleshooting experience preferred
