They are seeking a Founding Engineer who will build the product from the ground up, make critical technical decisions, and work closely with attorneys to develop solutions that address their needs.

Responsibilities
Build attorney-facing features from legal document generation to claim chart automation
Work directly with attorneys to understand workflows and pain points, then ship solutions quickly
Make architectural decisions for AI model integration, data pipelines, and product infrastructure
Ship quickly based on direct attorney feedback and usage patterns
Work across the full stack— backend systems, frontend UI/UX, database, and infrastructure
Establish code quality standards, testing practices, and deployment processes
Handle sensitive client data with appropriate security and compliance measures
Qualification
Required
2+ years building SaaS or AI-enabled products
Strong product instincts— thinking about users, not just technical solutions
Proficient with AI coding agents (Claude, Cursor, Copilot, etc.) to accelerate development
Experience building with LLMs— prompt engineering, managing context windows, handling streaming responses, prompt chaining
Comfortable with ambiguity and early-stage environments
High standards for code quality and user experience
Preferred
Understanding of b2b enterprise applications or professional services
Previous startup or founding team experience
Familiarity with enterprise security and compliance requirements
