Responsibilities

Lead electrical design from concept through testing and delivery of custom packaging machinery
Develop and program Allen-Bradley PLC and HMI systems using Rockwell Studio 5000
Design and maintain electrical schematics and panel layouts using EPLAN P8
Ensure compliance with UL 508A, NFPA 79, and NEC standards
Generate and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) within PLM systems
Support assembly, integration, and Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT)
Update electrical documentation following build changes or field modifications
Serve as the primary electrical contact during machine startup and post-sale support
Collaborate with global engineering teams to align design standards and best practices

Required

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial automation and machine controls design
Strong experience programming Allen-Bradley PLCs using Studio 5000
Hands-on experience designing electrical schematics and control panels using EPLAN P8
Working knowledge of UL 508A, NFPA 79, and NEC
Experience troubleshooting industrial machinery and performing system validation
Ability to lead electrical projects from design through commissioning
Strong organizational and documentation skills

Preferred

Experience with B&R or Siemens PLC platforms
Experience with AutoCAD Electrical
Familiarity with motion control systems, servo drives, and industrial I/O networks
Exposure to QAD or SmarTeam systems
French language skills (not required)
