Responsibilities

Perform TIG welding on aluminum and stainless steel components, producing clean, consistent welds

Grind, blend, and finish welded parts using angle grinders and finishing tools to meet appearance and specification requirements

Set up and operate fabrication equipment such as cold saws, band saws, pipe notchers, and grinders

Use fixtures, jigs, welding torches, and hand tools to properly fit and assemble parts prior to welding

Safely move materials using overhead lifting devices, forklifts, and pallet jacks

Complete assigned work efficiently while meeting production goals established by shop leadership

Required

High school diploma or equivalent

Proven TIG welding experience on aluminum and stainless steel materials

Ability to read and understand safety procedures, work instructions, manuals, and shop documentation

Comfortable working with fractions, basic math, and simple geometry for layout and measurement

Experience using tape measures, hand tools, and fabrication equipment

Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and workloads

Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while exercising good judgment

Ability to lift and handle materials weighing up to 75 pounds

Capable of standing, bending, kneeling, climbing, reaching, and performing repetitive hand motions throughout the shift

Requires close visual focus for welding and finishing tasks

Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment, including safety glasses, hearing protection, protective footwear, and appropriate work clothing
