Responsibilities
Building and sustaining campus relationships and inspiring committed student peers to join the NMDP registry
Delivering genetically varied public health information through the planning and coordination of registry awareness, education, and recruitment activities
Collaborating with internal NMDP partners and external partners, such as the intern’s campus community network, to maximize NMDP’s lifesaving impact
Leading weekly on-campus activations including captive audience presentations, tabling, and collaboration with other campus stakeholders
Creating, developing and/or maintaining a registered student organization on campus including hosting executive board and general body meetings, recruiting new members, and staying in good standing with the college/university
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program at a targeted college or university
Completed at least 30-hours of coursework
Minimum GPA 2.8
Preferred
Preference given to students who are currently NMDP Chapter members, NMDP Ambassadors and/or NMDP volunteers
