Digital Project Manager (Complex Website Builds)
Robert Half is seeking a Digital Project Manager with agency experience to lead the project management of a large-scale, enterprise corporate website rebuild. The role involves collaborating with various teams to ensure timely and budget-friendly delivery while managing stakeholder expectations and project risks.

Responsibilities
Own delivery for an enterprise website build from kickoff through launch and post-launch stabilization—covering discovery, strategy alignment, design, development, content, QA, and deployment
Partner with the Account Director to manage client communication, expectations, and escalations while maintaining strong day-to-day stakeholder alignment
Build and maintain project plans, timelines, dependencies, milestones, and resource plans across multiple cross-functional teams
Drive scope control: write/maintain statements of work support materials, manage change requests, keep documentation current, and clearly communicate tradeoffs
Lead recurring ceremonies and touchpoints: standups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, status meetings, design/dev reviews, risk reviews, and launch readiness
Manage delivery across disciplines including brand/design systems, UX/UI, content strategy, engineering, analytics, SEO, accessibility, and QA
Identify and mitigate risks early—especially around content migration, integrations, approvals, security/compliance reviews, localization, and performance
Coordinate QA and UAT: test planning, defect triage, acceptance criteria, stakeholder sign-offs, and launch go/no-go checklists
Support launch execution: cutover planning, deployment coordination, rollback planning, stakeholder communications, and post-launch support
Keep the team aligned using clear documentation: decision logs, RAID logs, action items, meeting notes, requirements, and delivery updates
Qualification
Required
5+ years in digital project management (or similar) with meaningful agency experience delivering client work
Proven track record leading complex, large-scale enterprise website builds (corporate marketing sites, rebrands, redesigns, or platform rebuilds)
Strong understanding of the web delivery lifecycle: discovery → IA/UX → design → development → content → QA/UAT → launch
Experience managing multi-team workstreams and stakeholders across creative + engineering (you can translate between them)
Comfortable with enterprise-level requirements such as: Accessibility standards (WCAG-minded delivery), Performance, SEO, analytics tagging, privacy/compliance considerations, Governance, approvals, and cross-department stakeholder management
Strong skills in planning, prioritization, and communication —you bring clarity, structure, and momentum
Tools fluency: comfort working in Jira/Confluence, Asana, Workfront, Smartsheet, or similar, plus Slack/Teams and Google/Microsoft docs
Ability to juggle multiple moving parts without losing the thread—calm under pressure, proactive, and solutions-oriented
Preferred
Experience with enterprise CMS or platforms such as Sitecore, Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Drupal, WordPress VIP, Contentful, Optimizely, or headless builds
Familiarity with design systems, component-based builds, and modern front-end workflows
Experience with content migration (workflows, redirects, URL strategy, content modeling), localization, or multi-region sites
Understanding of integrations like SSO, DAM, CRM forms, marketing automation, search, or analytics platforms
PMP, CSM, or other relevant certifications (helpful, not required)
