Responsibilities
Be responsible for screening platform capillary isoelectric focusing methods to facilitate the development of an identity test for JNJ molecules
Provide input to study design, study execution, data collection and analysis, and documentation in electronic lab notebooks
Gain experience with the capillary isoelectric focusing analytical technique for analysis of protein charge heterogeneity as well as become familiar with working in a GLP/GMP environment
Gain knowledge revolving around chemistry manufacturing and control analytical requirement for biopharmaceutical products
Qualification
Required
Candidate must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and must not require sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the future (e.g., FI, H1-B status)
Candidates must be actively enrolled in an accredited University for the duration of an internship assignment pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree (or equivalent experience). For students pursuing their Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, candidates must have completed their sophomore year
Minimum GPA of 2.8 is required
Preferred
Prior experience in a biology, chemistry, pharmaceutical science, or engineering lab is preferred
Experience with any physicochemical analytical techniques, such as HPLC, gel or capillary electrophoresis, spectroscopy, etc
