Responsibilities
Design, develop, and deploy Ignition SCADA projects, including screen design, tag configuration, scripting, and database integration
Collaborate with engineering teams to gather system requirements and translate them into functional SCADA solutions
Lead commissioning activities, including system testing, troubleshooting, and optimization
Integrate SCADA systems with PLCs, RTUs, databases, and third-party applications
Maintain, upgrade, and optimize existing SCADA systems to improve performance and reliability
Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership for SCADA-related initiatives
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Control Systems, or related field
7+ years of experience in SCADA engineering, with at least 3 years working extensively with Ignition
Advanced proficiency in Inductive Automation's Ignition platform, including Perspective and Vision modules
Strong knowledge of industrial communication protocols (Modbus, OPC, OPC UA, DNP3, Ethernet/IP, etc.)
Experience with SQL databases and scripting languages (Python preferred)
Familiarity with PLC programming and integration (Rockwell, Schneider, Siemens, etc.)
Proficiency in industrial networking design and cybersecurity best practices
Strong communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
High efficiency and time management skills
Ability to lead teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously
