Responsibilities
Upon successful completion of the Teledyne Sales Development Program, you will be fielded as a Sales Engineer and engage directly with customers in your assigned territory
Contribute to the development and execution of strategic account plans and play an active role in advancing key opportunities
Prepare customer-facing materials such as proposals, quotations, technical value statements, and follow-up communications
Build meaningful relationships with design, validation, and test engineering teams
Deliver compelling demonstrations of Teledyne LeCroy’s oscilloscopes, including high-speed serial test solutions, power integrity analysis, and automotive bus decoding tools, to both engineering teams and executive audiences
Translate complex signal integrity, timing, power, and serial data concepts into clear and accessible explanations for diverse technical and non-technical stakeholders
Partner closely with Field Applications Engineers, Product Management, and Marketing to address customer requirements and emerging technology trends
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a closely related technical discipline
Strong understanding of electronics fundamentals, including circuits, signals, digital systems, and embedded/ECU-level architectures
Ability to quickly learn and apply high-speed serial test methods, oscilloscope measurement techniques, and emerging high speed serial electrical standards
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret waveforms, debug issues, and reason through complex system behavior
Genuine interest in working at the intersection of engineering, customer engagement, and business development, with the ability to translate technical insights into customer value
0–2 years of experience gained through internships, co-ops, senior design projects, competitive engineering teams, or hands-on lab coursework
Practical experience with electronics, high-speed interfaces, and measurement tools (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, power analyzers) is strongly preferred
Willing to relocate to Chestnut Ridge, NY during the development program, and later to the assigned territory
Preferred
Strong communication and presentation skills; ability to explain complex topics clearly
Experience delivering technical content or demonstrating engineering concepts (classroom, lab, or project settings)
Exposure to automotive electronics, power electronics, and high-speed serial interfaces (PCIe, USB, DDR, and Ethernet)
Experience with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, or measurement tools in lab or project environments
Leadership experience in engineering teams, student organizations, or project-based environments
GPA of 3.3 or higher preferred
