Responsibilities
Review and interpret structural and mechanical drawings, specifications, and customer requirements
Perform detailed material takeoffs and support estimating and quotation development
Support fabrication execution planning, shop scheduling, and material procurement
Coordinate with internal fabrication teams, vendors, and subcontractors
Review and support compliance with customer quality requirements and Quality Management Systems (QMS)
Assist with inspection documentation, audits, and project turnover packages
Track fabrication schedules, milestones, and deliverables
Support field installation teams and customer coordination as required
Assist the Manager of Engineering & Field Services with technical and execution support
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent industry experience
5-7 years of experience in a structural steel or industrial fabrication shop environment; mechanical or structural fabrication for power or utility facilities; or industrial or power generation project execution
Experience reviewing drawings, performing takeoffs, and supporting fabrication projects is required
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Project (or similar) and Adobe
Preferred
Estimating, vendor coordination, and quality documentation experience is preferred
