Responsibilities

Support the EGSE Organization as a software engineer
You will support modernization efforts geared toward achieving greater efficiency, security, automation and scalability
You will collaborate with an enthusiastic team of software, systems, electrical and test engineers using the Agile Development methodology
Coordinate with the product line manager and directorates to support needs

Required

Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited college or a related discipline or equivalent experience/combined education
Programming experience in one or more of the following: C/C++, LabView, Python, Java, TestStand
Experience working on project teams and development efforts
Experience developing software requirements, CONOPs, and software design
Experience with product life cycle (development, deployment, retirement)
Issue Tracking and troubleshooting experience
US Citizenship required: Interim Secret Clearance needed to start with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance
+5 years of professional experience for this role
You will need to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret Clearance, thus US Citizenship is required

Preferred

Experience in simulation software development, software testing and validation, and software configuration management
Experience with Telemetry Data Processing (TDP)
Experience working with RF
Experience with multiple OS platforms such as Linux and Windows
Systems thinking mindset
Experience with Agile and DevOps processes and culture
Experience with Jira or other Atlassian tool sets
Must be able to work autonomously and drive items to closure
Possess strong communication, social, and problem resolution skills
